I bet big...he called
Next card was a 2
I bet he called
River was an 8...I went all in he called and beat me with 10's over 8's

Tough General...been running VERY bad myself....
Recently lost a monster pot..
Dealt QQ in the big blind...4 other players in a capped preflop...
Flop comes 2Q5 with 2 hearts on board...no slow play..
I bet out get raised 2 guys call 1 guy drops, I reraise to calls all around...
Turn K.....
I bet out...1 raiser, guy calls, another folds, I reraise..two calls
River A......
I bet out...Call, Raise, I reraise (dumb) fold, Raise, I call..
Guy shows JT off-suit with no hearts
Guy caught runner runner str8 against my flopped set of Queens. He called 2 bets cold preflop then another 3 on the flop when he had to assume that he NEEDED runner runner to win.
1) If a heart fell and I lost, I probably would have been fine. But a runner runner str8 with no heart in his hand?!?!?!?
2) I was crazed since I've been running soooo bad and this hand was typical of the types of beats I've been getting and the pot was huge.
3) This was mid limit and I almost never see chit like this at that level. If he had a heart then maybe I could see the flop call but this hand was absurd.
Oh well.

2 guys at Party have told me the same thing. Last 4 days have been the worst run I've EVER had live or online. VERY STRANGE!! All sorts of improbable stuff. 2 outers, 3 outers, guys with undercards and NO OUTS on the turn hitting 4 outers at the river after calling all sorts of bets. CRAZY CRAZY stuff...at mid/high limits too. You see chit like that at .5/1 or 2/4 maybe 3/6 but not usual at the higher limits.
Trying to keep my wits about me but I'm going nuts.
I have a had a bad run at party Pot Limit Omaha. Have dropped about 1k in the last week in the 100 max buyin game. I think I playing ok, but the draws haven't come and the made hands have been outdrawn. Have no intention on quitting. Has been a big winner for me overall.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

swami - I am swtiching skins. Have been playing via Empire and now am going to switch to Party for a while. The hands I have made haven't been getting paid off as well as I think they should, so I figure switching usernames will give the other players an old player they might not have as good a read on. Unlike the holdem games the PLO games are frequented by few enough players that it is easy for people get a read on one's play quick.
Plus a different look might get me out of my negative expectations as I enter the games.

I'm guessing Skims had 8s full of Qs versus his opponent' 10s full of 8s.
